Symptom:

    When Startup windows xp, after showing the startup picture

:

the LCD blanks. However, the computer is not halt on, if we move the optical mouse, we can see a white low resolution mouse pointer appear at on the LCD screen.

Story:

    At first, I think the VGA driver’s setting is wrong so I decided press “F8″ function key in order to enter the safe mode. then I reinstall the VGA driver, but doesn’t work.

    I remember this computer works fine yesterday, After enter the safe mode, recovery it back to yesterday, but doesn’t work yet.

Solution:

   At last, I decided to uninstall the VGA driver of this computer, it works. When boot up, press “F8″ function key, enter the safe mode, uninstall the VGA driver, then reboot the computer. It works. When enter the normal environment of windows XP, reinstall the VGA driver, repair OK.

Conclusion:

    At first, I decided reinstall the VGA driver to solve this problem, it is totally wrong. the solution is unintall the VGA driver.
